Warning: Mendoza - Strong Vintage!

Dave Mendoza is not an entertainer. While he may me able to tickle your ears for a while, he will not support you and your friends getting drunk into a stupor, so you can all roar "Country Road, Take Me Home" from the top of your lungs and call that a good time. He may have done that once upon a time, but he has slowly grown too old for that... well, sort of stuff...

Life is too short and perhaps too significant to blow it away or drown it in alcohol or in any sort of addiction, for that matter, and if you're just another entertainment junkie, this artist isn't ready to give you another fix.

While amusement finds it's original meaning in "away from thinking," it is Dave Mendoza's intention to do just the opposite, and challenge his worldwide audience to use that last rest of brain cells left (before the obvious course of de-volution humanity is trapped in will have eliminated the art of thinking altogether) to figure out what you're on this planet for, apart from the sacred duties of earning money and consumption.

If you absolutely need to consume something, you may find this wine a little strong, but ultimately good for you, a vintage from the days before superficiality and greed took over the music business.

Warnung: Mendoza - ein herber Jahrgang!

Dave Mendoza ist kein Unterhalter. Obwohl er durchaus imstande ist, die Ohren seiner Zuhörer eine Weile lang zu kitzeln, so bringt er es dennoch nicht mehr über sich, Menschen dazu zu animieren sich in einen Zustand zu trinken in dem sie auf den Tischen stehend lauthals "Country Road, Take Me Home" gröhlen und das dann einen tollen Abend nennen. Er mag das zwar eine Zeit lang getan haben, aber er wird langsam zu alt für ... diese Art von Dingen.

Das Leben ist zu kurz und vielleicht auch zu bedeutungsvoll um es in Alkohol zu ertränken oder irgend einer anderen Form von Sucht hinzugeben, und dieser Künstler ist nicht länger in dem Geschäft Unterhaltungs-Junkies ihre nächste Dröhnung zu verpassen.

Wo die ursprüngliche Bedeutung des Wortes "Amusement" in "weg vom Denken" liegt, möchte Mendoza das Gegenteil bewirken und sein Publikum ermutigen, die letzten paar Gehirnzellen zu benutzen (bevor der Vorgang der De-volution in dem sich die Menschheit offensichtlich befindet die Kunst des Denkens vollends eliminiert haben wird), herauszufinden wozu wir auf diesem Planeten sind, abgesehen von den allgegenwärtigen Pflichten des Geldverdienens und Konsumierens.

Wer dem Konsumdrang nicht widerstehn kann, mag den Wein den Dave Mendoza anzubieten hat als etwas herb empfinden, aber den Allgemeinzustand verbessernd. Ein Jahrgang aus vergangenen Tagen bevor die Oberflächlichkeit und die Gier das Musikgeschäft übernahmen.
